2. data minimization & logging policy

we believe in privacy by design. hostie.im does not track your private file contents, build search indexes of user directories, or sell user browsing history. we collect only the bare minimum technical data required to manage account quotas and protect network integrity (such as temporary bandwidth consumption stats and encrypted authentication tokens).

3. automated storage management & expiration

to maintain storage health, hostie.im enforces strict automated retention policies. all uploaded data is treated as temporary. unless otherwise explicitly specified by a custom paid tier, files are subject to automated deletion timers and may be permanently scrubbed from our systems after 30 days from the initial upload timestamp.

4. cookies

we use only essential cookies required for the service to function (e.g. session authentication). we do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.
